Gregory L. Haynes

Greg is a native of Southwest Virginia who attended Emory & Henry College, graduated from the College of William and Mary with an A.B. in Philosophy (1985), and received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law (1990). Greg received his initial training in estate planning and estate administration with the law firm of McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe (now McGuireWoods, LLP) in Richmond, Virginia. After his tenure with McGuireWoods he worked as in-house counsel for an international financial services company where he also held securities and insurance licenses, and for a financial planning software development company. Most recently, Greg was a partner with the law firm of KlineHaynesCancellari in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The focus of his practice has always been assisting individuals and closely-held businesses in protecting and passing their assets to future generations. Greg is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Trusts and Estates Section of the Virginia State Bar, and the Hanover County Bar Association. A resident of Hanover County, Greg is married with three boys, an active church member, and an avid flyfisherman.
